Wherever our standard machines reach their limits, our special machine construction meets your challenges. We develop and produce tailor-made solutions for special requirements and see ourselves as a supplier of ideas and problem solvers. Our special machines range from manual workstations to partially and fully automatic systems, but also modules in self-contained areas with process responsibility within external production lines.

Special machine construction at Strunk – from the idea to reality

When developing and manufacturing your special machines, we attach great importance to finding the optimal solution for your application. Whether advice, sample creation, project planning or development – our project management team guarantees an agile approach at all times. We use Inventor 3D CAD to create the mechanical design. From there, all data is transferred to PDM with ERP coupling and on to mechanical production via CAD-CAM. For the E-construction we use E-Plan, also with an ERP connection.

We realize mechanical production by CNC processing using 5-axis milling, 3 + 2-axis milling and 3-axis milling as well as eroding, grinding and lathes. The mechanical assembly of the assemblies is carried out by our own assembly team, while the employees of our switch cabinet construction take care of the electrical assembly. These are based on central and decentralized architectures on the basis of BUS systems with links to the last sensor, from design to execution.

In order to ensure smooth operation, we offer our customers an on-site maintenance and repair service including remote services, remote maintenance and production data acquisition (BDE). Our range of services is rounded off by training courses and efficient spare parts management.
